7 Steps To Defeating Your Enemy!
Network Marketing Leaders you need to be aware that there is an enemy in your camp, and enemy that is trying to take you out and not just you, it is eating away at your network marketing teams, stealing their dreams and making them feel as though they can’t do it. They are losing focus and good people, people who have all the talent in the world and should be becoming Network Marketing Super Stars are fading away into obscurity never to be heard of or seen again.
This enemy is as sly as a fox but as bold as a lion, even though it doesn’t actually come out and say “here I am”, it is always there and you as a network marketing leader needs to be aware of it for yourself and for your team, because just as easily it could steal your future and everything that you have been working towards…
The enemy of every network marketing leader is called Distraction!
Distraction has been with us forever, it has just taken on many different forms. When I first got started in Network Marketing distraction came in different forms, it could have been TV, Movies, Going out with friends, magazines, church or sport. Today, while we still have those distractions, we have many many more. Facebook Marketing is a great example. Our team LOVES to market on facebook, and we have incredible results from it, some of the best anywhere in the world within our company, however you just have to login to facebook and you can see all of the distractions that are staring you in the face. I guess though it is not just facebook that Network Marketing Leaders have to be aware of as a distraction, it is all social media, login to youtube and you could be on there for the rest of your life watching all the movies and videos that people have loaded.
Other distractions can come from your personal life, if there are no boundaries in place with your friends and family and if you are not really taking your network marketing business seriously, then neither will anyone else, and so they will expect you to fit into their plans. Many family and friends will never understand what you are doing or why until you tell them, until you explain what you are working on and what the reward will be when you achieve it. In their eyes, you are working from home, so you should always be available and what can you really do at home anyway…They may have never been on a webinar, never used Skype or didn’t even know you could do a conference call. All of this seems way too complex for you their friend lol, because they have known you for years… right!!!
So what is the answer for you as a network marketing leader?
I am afraid there are no EASY solutions, there are definitely simple steps you can put in place, but none of them are really easy. The reason I say they are not easy is because you are going to continue to battle with distraction, with your other desires. Your desire to be “comfortable and relaxed”, the things to remember is that you are building your network marketing business so you can have those things. The lie that the enemy “distraction” is telling you is that you are ok now, and what you have now is enough, but you have to know that somewhere deep down inside of you, there is a reason you are putting in so much effort.
- Allocate time for each task
- Fill your diary each day with the actions you need to do
- When on social media, know exactly what it is you need to do, get it done and then move on.
- Talk to your family and friends and let them know the times you work
- Take your network marketing business seriously so that others will as well
- Lead by example. Understand that your team and everyone else is watching you.
- Have fun. Enjoy what you do and stay focused on your dream
