Home Meetings, Talk about controversial…
If you bring this up with the “so called guru’s” of the online network marketing industry, they will vehemently deny that they are, however if you talk to those leaders that have been around for a while and understand the phys-chi of people, they will tell you that the “Home Meeting”, has got to be one of the most important components of the Network Marketing Industry.
So let’s talk a little about this subject and see why the online networkers don’t believe it is important and then we can look at why the traditional networkers believe they are.
The Online Camp and Home Meetings:
One of the interesting things I have seen with the people who are saying “you don’t need to do in home meetings any more” is they are not focused on building a network marketing business, but are focused on selling an affiliate product or program.
They seem to be following the lead of someone who just wants them to market their own product and build that affiliate marketers profile.
Now if those people want to be an affiliate marketer, then that is fine, however there is a difference between and affiliate marketer and a network marketer.
Do I believe a network marketer can sell an affiliate product, yes I do…however I don’t believe they can build a thriving network marketing business based on good sales copy. At some time, you need to pick up the phone and have a meeting.
The home meeting is not a place for selling, it is a place for building relationships and strengthening your team. The home meetings allows for training and support and it also allows you to show your prospects what you have and how they can make their dreams a reality, just like you are…

Let me make one thing very clear, not doing home meetings is like throwing the baby out with the bath water.
Just because the Internet and technology has come on the scene with marketers who are very good at copy writing and the sales pitch, does not mean you should forget the amazing lessons learnt from the past and drop a powerful tool we have in our arsenal.
Yes the home meeting has changed, well the way it is promoted and used anyway, it needs to be more relational but also more “break through”…more about how you are using technology and offline strategies to work together.
If you don’t make this change, you will be left behind, so make it now…
