There is a major trap when it comes to online lead generation. Let me explain.
Even though I believe in generating leads online, I also believe that most people stumble over the most important component of this industry…talking to people and building relationships.
Instead of doing the one thing that actually builds a network marketing business, they avoid it like the plague, convincing themselves generating hundreds of leads is going to build their business without actually speaking to them.
Learning how to use twitter, Facebook, youtube, blogs PPC etc. is all good and well, and generating 100 leads per day is great, but what do you do with them?
Once you have their details (they may have even purchased your ebook) how many people actually get on the phone and do the one thing that will generate them long term sustainable income? Answer: Build Relationships and get them started in your network marketing business!
Now please don’t get me wrong, I love generating leads online, I do it every single day. I have leads coming in from many different sources, but they are no good to me if I don’t actually do something with them, and the same goes for you.
I fell for this trap.
I actually thought I needed to generate hundreds of leads each day, unless I was doing this in my mind I was a failure. This was a lie.
The truth was much different. What I found is that I only needed to generate 3 – 7 leads per day, build a relationship these people and amazing things began to happened, they actually got started building a business with me!!!
