Bo Short, Who is Bo Short?
Up until about 24 months before I am writing this article, I had never heard of Bo Short. It wasn’t until a friend of mine, Ty Tribble introduced me to him that I realised who this man was.
Ty Tribble told me all these amazing stories about this man who had mentored him in the home business and network marketing world. Ty would talk about how Bo Short believed in him and encouraged him to use the internet when everyone else was saying “no it won’t work”. This is an amazing story of what the belief of an upline in an individual can have. We all know now that online marketing for the network marketing world does work, it does require a lot of time, effort, skill and money, but it does work and Bo Short believed enough in Ty Tribble to encourage him further with it.
I thought to myself, that any mentor who believed in offline marketing and yet had the courage to support, mentor and develop someone who wanted to build
online deserved my respect. Bo Short received it.
Most leaders have a closed view when it comes to online marketing, they believe that it doesn’t work and so they put down those that do it or instead of supporting and encouraging, they don’t say anything, which is the same thing.
There is one thing I have learnt over the years, when you start to gain success or even do something that others have never done before, you are going to come up against ridicule and challenges, and Bo Short has definitely had these.
However over the last 24 months of chatting, meeting and working with Bo Short, I have this to say. He knows what he is talking about and he speaks not only with theoretical authority but with practical authority as well.
The stuff Bo Short teaches, works. It develops teams, people and helps those people make money.
He has a heart to develop leaders and grow individuals and loves the network marketing industry and the incredible people that are involved in it.
Bo Short has been to the top of the leader board in every company he has participated in, and has shown others along the way, how they can do it as well.
The thing is, as with everything, only a few people will ever want to do the same amount of work as what Bo has done. Instead of going to work, they would want to criticise and find fault.
There is a simple rule for success, if you want to have the same success as someone else, be prepared to do what they have done.
I am sure Bo has made mistakes, he would be the first to say he has, however it is those mistakes that have pushed him to become better and become who he is, just as the mistakes I have made, have developed me, I hope into a better person, and the mistakes you have made, have made you a better person, if you are prepared to learn and grow from them.
At the time of me writing this article, Bo Short has taken on quite possibly he biggest role. He has take on a corporate role with a company called Mannatech. His vision is to take this global company to a Billion Dollar business and save the lives of millions of children all over the world.
It is an honour to get to know Bo Short and watch him impact the lives of leaders all over the world.
Even though Bo has taken on a corporate role with Mannatech, you would still see him as an active leader. The reason I say this is because he is always practising his own scripts on people around him. He is always doing presentations for the team and analysing what works and what doesn’t, based on results. He is still in the trenches and has earned the respect he is due.
